Description

This building is a granary and dovecot located 20 yards southwest of Lucas Green Manor House. It dates from the 18th century and features a timber frame set on a brick plinth and staddle stones. The framing is exposed, made of thin scantling with brick infilling and diagonal bracing. The dovecot, which is wooden, sits beneath a pyramidal roof that is placed on top of the hipped plain tiled roof of the granary. Each side of the building has two bays. On the west side, there is a lattice casement window to the right and a planked door to the left. This structure is included in the listing for its group value.
