Description

Grants Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage located on Castle Grove Road in Chobham. The cottage is constructed of red brick with a hipped slate roof and rendered end stacks featuring oversailing tops. It has a square plan and a symmetrical facade. The front has two glazing bar sash windows on each floor, set within moulded surrounds and beneath gauged brick heads. A central window on the first floor has been blocked. The central door is a six-panel design, with a traceried transome light cutting into a brick relieving arch and within a deep panelled reveal. Grants Cottage is included in the listing for its group value only.
