Description

Myrtle Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century, with an extension added in the 19th century. It has a roughcast exterior and plain tiled roofs, featuring a T-shaped plan with a wing at the center of the rear. The building stands two storeys high and has a symmetrical front with end ridge stacks. On each floor, there are two 12-pane glazing bar sash windows set in open boxes, while the central first-floor window is blocked. The entrance features a central six-panel door surrounded by a reeded frame, topped by a lead-covered gable hood supported by brackets.
