Description

The Three Fishes is a late 16th-century public house located on Green Street, Sunbury-on-Thames. The building is timber-framed, with an incised rendered front, a weatherboard gable end on the left, and a plain tiled roof. It is two storeys high. A truncated stack is located to the left, and a partially rebuilt square stack rises from the ridge towards the right. A fascia board runs across the ground floor. There are three 19th-century casement windows on the first floor, and two windows below. To the right of centre is a horizontal sliding sash window, and both ground floor windows have shutters. A half-glazed door is situated under a flat hood supported by brackets, positioned to the left of centre. A single-storey, hipped extension with a slate roof is on the left, featuring a single 4-centred arched-light window and a half-glazed door. A 20th-century brick extension is located to the rear.
