Description

The Old Manor Farm House is a late 18th-century house with 19th-century extensions, located in Sunbury-on-Thames. It is constructed of brown brick with a hipped slate roof. Originally three bays wide, the house has been extended to both ends. The original entrance front, facing south, has two storeys and a rebuilt stack on the right. It features three cross-windows on the first floor, characterised by diamond tracery and architrave surrounds, and two windows on the ground floor. A central, rendered porch with a gabled roof is present, featuring arched, diamond-paned windows on its return sides. A part-boarded extension is to the right, containing a window on the first floor. The left return front, which faces the street, incorporates two cross-windows on the first floor, an angle bay window on the ground floor to the right, and a cross-window to the left. The rear elevation includes a stack and a first-floor sash window with glazing bars. The group value context indicates that this building is considered to have architectural significance within its surroundings.
