Description

This is an 18th-century house with a front facade dating to the early 19th century, located on Thames Street in Sunbury-on-Thames. The house is built on a double pile plan and has three storeys, with rear stacks. The symmetrical front facade has three bays, constructed of yellow brick beneath a hipped roof covered with plain tiles and partially concealed by a stone-coped parapet. The windows retain their original 12-pane glazing-bar sash fenestration; three windows are present on the first and second floors, each with a gauged brick head. The ground floor has tripartite sash windows, with a 12-pane central section. The entrance features a six-panel door within an architrave surround, topped by a flat, dentilled hood. A two-storey rendered extension is situated on the right-hand return front to the rear, including iron railings to a balcony above.
