Description
Nos 25 and 26 are a pair of houses built in the late 18th century. They are constructed of red brick and feature cambered arches with a string course at the first floor. The roof is tiled and continues from No 24. The rear elevation has a triple hipped roof that butts onto the main roof, and there is a later two-storey matching wing to the west with a parapet roof. The houses have two stacks and rise three storeys. The ground floor includes a recessed door with a fanlight and an altered 16-pane sash window with slender bars that is recessed and shuttered. No 26 has an original door with four flush beaded panels and a fanlight. On the first floor, there are two windows, and on the second floor, there are two 8-pane sash windows and moulded eaves. The later wing to the west has two windows.
