Description

No 17 is a house dating from the late 18th century. It features red brick walls with blue headers and has cambered arches above its openings. The roof is covered with concrete tiles and the building stands two storeys tall. The front elevation has a central door with flush beaded panels, flanked by a 12-pane sash window on each side, both with slender glazing bars. On the first floor, there are two similar windows. A Phoenix fire insurance plaque is also present. The rear elevation includes 4-pane sash windows and there is a 20th-century single storey extension. This building is included for its group value.
