Description
Nos 23 and 24 are a pair of houses dated 1755, constructed of brick featuring three band courses and a moulded eaves course. They have a clay tile roof with east and central stacks and rise to three storeys. No 23 retains its original features, while No 24 has altered windows. The entrance to No 23 includes a recessed 4-pane glazed door set in moulded reveals, topped with a simple hood. Both houses have 12-pane sash windows with heavy bars, rubbed arches, and shutters on the ground floor, while the first and second floors feature similar windows that are flush and consist of 6-pane sashes. The window in No 24 has been modified to a leaded light. Additionally, there are two fire insurance plates present on the buildings.
