Description
Laurel Cottage and The Ferns (No. 10 and No. 12) are an early 19th century semi-detached pair of houses located on the south side of Bridge Road in Chertsey. The houses are constructed of amber brick, with No. 10 painted. They have a stone cope along the roofline and are two storeys in height. Each house features a blank window at the first floor level above the central entrance. No. 12 retains its original slate roof, while No. 10 has original sash windows with glazing bars. No. 12 has been altered with modern, enlarged casement windows, including square bay windows at ground floor level. The arched entrances are topped with mutular transoms. The properties are set back with narrow front gardens enclosed by low brick walls.
