Description
This is a row of five 18th-century cottages on London Street, Chertsey. The cottages have been altered since their original construction and are two storeys high, with one window each. They are rendered and painted, with an old tile roof that is hipped. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set in near-flush frames. The ground floor has early 19th-century doorcases and windows with moulded cornices supported on small consoles. The entrance doors have triple reeded frames and six fielded panels. Small front gardens or forecourts are present, enclosed by a modern low brick wall and railings. Nos. 68 to 76 form a group with Nos. 62 to 84 on the same street.
