Description
Wallfield Lodge is a former pair of houses that has been converted into a single residence. It dates from the early to mid-19th century and is two storeys high with two wide bays. The building is constructed from coursed chalk blocks and features rusticated stucco quoins at the ends and in the centre. It has a fairly low-pitched slated roof with symmetrical stacks and a deep eaves soffit. The central entrance has paired prostyle porches; the right door is now blocked, while the left door consists of four panels with an oblong fanlight above. The lodge is included in the listing partly for its group value, as it forms a group with Farley, Farley Cottage, and West Lodge (including the coach-house).
