Description

High House is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It features a square panel timber frame set on a rendered plinth, with brick infill below and a diagonal pattern of tile hanging above. The house has wooden moulded eaves and a plain tiled roof with end ridge stacks. It is two storeys tall with an attic, which includes two gabled casement dormers. The first floor has three glazing bar sash windows, each surrounded by architrave. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with fielded panels, with the top two panels being glazed and sheltered by a flat porch canopy. At the rear, there is a catslide extension.
