Description

This is a probable mid-to-late 17th-century building, located on Nutfield Road in South Merstham, and altered subsequently. It is two storeys high with four windows. The roof is hipped and tiled, with wings extending to either side, and chimneys rebuilt in red brick. The front elevation is of red brick with a brick dentil cornice. The ground-floor windows have shaped heads: the interior windows have flattened ogee shapes, while the exterior windows are pointed, though these have been altered to segmental arches. Modern small-paned casement windows are in place. Two 19th-century enclosed brick gabled porches with boarded doors are located on the sides. The side walls are of coursed malmstone. A weatherboarded pentice is present at the left.
