Description

The building at 28-32 High Street is an 18th-century front applied to an earlier timber-framed structure. It is two storeys high, with a dormer window on the roof of number 32, and has four windows across the front. The front façade is stuccoed with an eaves cornice. The roof is tiled, with swept eaves. The first-floor windows are sash windows with glazing bars set within moulded architraves; one window on the first floor of number 32 is curved on plan. The ground floor currently contains modern shops. The left return is slate-hung and leads into a small timber-framed wing with brick infill.
