Description

The Billingsley Tomb, located 10 yards west of the south aisle of the Church of St. Bartholomew, is a chest tomb dedicated to Samuel Billingsley, who died in 1725. It is made of stone and rests on a moulded stone plinth. The tomb features panelled sides with cushion-shaped moulding at the angle piers and has a moulded edge on its darker, inscribed stone lid.
