Description

Collickmore Farm House is a house dating from the late 16th to 17th century. It features a Bargate stone and sandstone rubble plinth with brick quoins at the corners and brick banding courses above. The upper part of the house is clad in pebbledash under plain tiled roofs. The building has two storeys, with double stacks on the ridge of the rear wing and an end stack at the back. There are 17th-century stacks to the rear right.

The new entrance front has attics with outer tile-hung gables that sit on a plinth over a basement storey. There is a plat band over the ground floor and additional plat bands at the eaves. Each gable has one diamond-pane, 3-light attic window, while the ends of the first floor feature two 8-light cambered head windows with diamond-pane tracery in the upper lights above square pane over lights. The centre of the first floor has a 3-light window, and there are two 3-light, cambered-head windows on the ground floor.

The central entrance has a ribbed and studded door beneath a diamond-pane transom light, all set under a brick keystoned head. Above this is a frieze under a moulded brick cornice, which includes hexagonal-shaped panels. Impost mouldings indicate where pilaster piers once stood. The left-hand return front has a blocked attic window, one first-floor window, and one ground-floor window, along with two windows in the basement storey. There are also two diamond-pane windows on the left wing. A gabled brick porch with a Horsham slab roof is located on the left side of the house.
