Description

Juniper Hill Cottage dates to the late 18th century and was originally two residences, now combined into one dwelling. It has a double hipped tiled roof with a stack at each end. The walls are red brick. The cottage is two storeys high with two windows on the north elevation and one window on the south elevation. Each window has a segmental arch and consists of three, four, or two lights, with casement glazing. A round-headed recess is located centrally above the first floor, potentially indicating a previously bricked-up window. There are two wooden doors, each with a rustic fanlight and a pediment-shaped hood supported by brackets. A single-storey extension, containing one window and one door, projects from the north side. A photograph of the cottage is held in the National Monuments Record.
