Description

Mickleham Hall is an L-shaped house, now used as flats, with an 18th-century facade applied to an earlier timber-framed building. The house has two storeys and an attic, featuring 10 windows and two gabled dormers facing south, and 6 windows facing east. The exterior is painted brick, partially stuccoed, and features a string course, cornice, and parapet. The roof is slate-covered. A curved bay containing three windows on each floor is present, not centrally positioned, with a Venetian window on the ground floor to the west of this bay, and ground floor windows to the east featuring semi-circular tympana. Most of the window glazing bars remain intact. Projecting pillared loggias are located at each end of the building; the west loggia has been glazed. The interior may contain early 17th-century fireplaces and carved ceilings.
