Description

Fullbrook Cottage is a late 15th century or early 16th century open hall-house with two bays, originally featuring a hall of one bay. A smoke hood was later added in the hall, and in the 17th century, a chimneystack was constructed outside the house. The building is now two storeys high and has been refronted with painted brick, topped with a tiled roof and a stringcourse. It has two casement windows and a gabled weather porch, along with an outshut at the rear. Inside, the cottage contains three crown posts, a chamfered collar purlin, and the framing for the smoke hood in the open hall.
