Description
Kempslade Farm is a 17th-century house with a timber frame, clad in Bargate sandstone rubble and featuring red brick dressings. To the left, there is an 18th-century extension made of Bargate stone and brick, with a tile-hung first floor. The house has plain tiled roofs and originally consists of three bays, which are now encased at the ends. It has a central stack in the old range and stands two storeys high. The first floor has three diamond-pane, mullioned casement windows, with the outer ones being three-light, while the ground floor has two three-light windows. There is a plinth moulding and a plat band at the ground floor level. The central door is accessed by six steps and is located under a Bargate gable on round piers. To the right, there is a two-windowed extension with a front stack, and to the left, a taller four-windowed extension, also with a front stack.
