Description

The Grotto to the east of Wotton House is a structure from the 18th or 19th century, built from sandstone rubble and featuring a roof made of rubble cement and earth. This rustic grotto has two main entrances leading into two chambers inside. It is part of the gardens of Wotton House, which are included in the "Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in England Part 40: Surrey" as Grade II*. The grotto is listed for its group value.
