Description

Cranford is a cottage dating from the 17th century. It is built of brown brick on a rendered plinth, with some areas colourwashed, and has a stone-coped gable and plain tiled roof. The facade is irregular, with two gabled bays facing the street, and a smaller gable to the right. The windows feature mixed glazing patterns, including a 3-light, diamond-pane leaded casement window on the first floor to the left, and a 2-light window on the ground floor to the right. An early 19th-century bow window with a tent roof and acorn finial is located on the ground floor to the left. The central door has a cambered head.
