Description

Miles Tomb is a chest tomb located 5 metres north of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary, dating from 1731 and dedicated to Arnold Miles. It features a stone chest set on a moulded plinth, with fielded panels on the sides and recessed angles. The angle recesses contain moulded panels in gadrooned sockets. The lid is made of a darker, flat stone with a moulded edge.
