Description

57 Quarry Street is a house with a core dating from the 17th century that was refronted around 1800. It is built of red brick and features a plain tiled roof that is obscured by a stone-coped parapet. The building has three storeys, with a stack located on the left side. Each floor has one blocked window under gauged-brick heads. On the ground floor, there is a six-panel door to the right, which is topped by a flat cornice hood with a fluted panel. At the rear, there is a tile-hung gable and a lower 20th-century brick extension in front. Inside, the roof has staggered butt purlins.
