Description
This is a barn dating from the mid-18th century, located 20 yards southeast of Lydling. It features a timber frame set on a sandstone plinth with brick dressings, and is clad in tarred weatherboard beneath a plain tiled half-hipped roof. The barn has a rectangular shape, with an aisle under a catslide extension on the west side. There are former breathers in the plinth that are now blocked. It has central opposing wain entrances, with the rear entrance located under a hipped projection. Additionally, there is a hay loft door at one end. The rear has rendered cement block extensions. This barn is included for its group value only.
