Description

This is a 19th-century coal tax post located at the junction with Langley Vale Road. It is made of cast iron and stands on a square plinth with chamfered sides. The post features a panel that displays the City of London Coat of Arms and has a moulded cap. Near the top of the shaft, there is a raised inscription that reads "4 x 25 Vict" and "Cap 42".
