Description
27 East Street is a building dating from around 1900, standing two storeys tall. The ground floor features glazed tiles, while the first floor is finished in roughcast. It has a flipped slate roof and brick stacks. The eaves cornice is deeply coved and sits above a tile string. On the first floor, there is a single casement window with glazing bars that projects from a coved oriel. The ground floor has two side wings, each with double curved ramping parapets. A moulded cornice runs above a continuous plain fascia, supported by pilasters that have green glazed tile panels framed in brown borders. Between the pilasters are alternately arranged three doors with oblong fanlights and two plate glass windows above green glazed tile panels with brown borders. There are garage doors located in the left-hand wing.
