Description
Tamarisk Cottage is an 18th-century cottage with roughcast render and a hipped tile roof. A brick stack is located at one end. The cottage is two storeys high and features a modillioned wooden eaves cornice. The first floor has three flush-framed casements with glazing bars. The ground floor has one similar casement and a partly-glazed door topped by an entablature supported by two Tuscan pilasters extending a considerable distance on either side of the doorway. A modern porch now obscures the original doorway. A flush-framed sash window with glazing bars is visible in the end elevation. A lean-to extension with a pantile roof is situated at the rear of the cottage.
