Description

This is a lamp post located 82 metres north of a bridge in Whiteley Village, Elmbridge, and it dates from around 1912. The lamp post is made of cast iron and features a square, four-legged base with a diagonally framed basket top. It has a tapering standard that supports a lantern with a decorative finial, which is held by a double scroll-work arm that curves in an S-shape.
