Almshouse row. Circa 1912 by Frank Atkinson. Brick with hipped, plain tiled roof, panelled ridge stacks to outer ends. Single storey with tiled eaves, hipped break to left with lower bay set back to left end. 4 casement windows across under gauged brick heads, further casement windows in outer, tiled, recessed bays to ends and 2 recessed openings to centre. Panelled doors to sides of recesses. Central lantern with globe phinial on bracket oner central opening.

Whiteley Village was provided by William Whiteley of Whiteley's stores for thrifty old folk and was laid out on an octagonal plan by Frank Atkinson, employing leading architects of the day. PEVSNER: BUILDINGS OF ENGLAND , SURREY (1971) pp520-1.
