Description

This is a pair of cottages, likely dating from around 1810. They are weatherboarded with a hipped slate roof, and simple tiles along the ridges. A central chimney stack is present. The cottages are arranged on a square plan, with two glazing bar sash windows on the first floor, set within projecting strip surrounds. A board door is located on the left-hand return front, sheltered by a gabled hood. A further glazed door, beneath a 20th-century gable porch with brick piers, is on the right-hand return front. A 20th-century extension has been added to the rear of the right-hand cottage.
