Description
The building is an early 18th-century stable block that has been converted and divided into separate residences. Early 20th-century wings were added to either end. Constructed primarily of red and brown brick, it features a slate roof with ridge stacks located on the left end, left of centre, and right of centre. The building is three stories high, with a brick eaves band in the centre. A large, depressed archway spans the central three bays. The windows are arranged irregularly, featuring casements. The first floor has six windows, while the ground floor windows are set under segmental heads, with some featuring inserted stained glass. A six-panel door is positioned to the left, alongside doubled-panel doors in a deep reveal to the right of centre, displaying egg and dart mouldings on the panels. A further door with a transom light is situated to the right. A 20th-century pentice roof projects from the wings at each end, with further additions located at the rear.
