Description
The former ancillary building to the west of the Lambeth Waterworks engine house, known as Building No 6, was constructed around 1851-1852 by James Simpson for the Lambeth Waterworks Company. It is built of stock brick with stone dressings and features a slate roof. The building has a gable end with stone coping and kneelers, a plinth, and buttresses. There is a louvred oculus in the gable and three pivoting metal casements. This building is included for its group value with the adjacent structures.
