Description
The boundary railings and wall to the former Lambeth Waterworks, built around 1852, consist of a series of square stock-brick piers that are nine feet high. These piers are connected by a low brick wall that is 3 feet 6 inches tall, topped with 4 feet 6 inches high cast iron railings. The railings extend for 35 meters, running from the boundary with the Chelsea Waterworks to the east, to the boundary with Elmbridge Borough to the west. In 1995, these structures served as the boundary for a Hall of Residence complex at Kingston University.
