Description

A house, now divided, dating from the 16th century with additions made in the mid-19th century. The house is timber-framed, with rendered brick cladding and plain tiled roofs, the rear roof being hipped. It has a large ridge stack to the left, stacks to the rear left, and a stack to the front right. The street facade presents three gable-front bays, featuring bargeboards with finials. The upper floor has two glazing bar sash windows, while the ground floor has glazed casement doors to the left. There is a half-glazed door with a cambered head to the right of centre, sheltered by a gabled porch with rendered walls, and a further door within a gabled porch on the return front. Inside, there is some exposed timber framing and wattle and daub infill visible in the Queen-post roof truss.
