Description

House. Dating back to the 16th century, with 20th-century extensions, Leigh Hill Farm House is a timber-framed building with brick infill and plain tiled roofs, featuring end stacks. The central range is flanked by projecting wings, creating a courtyard to the front of the house. The house is two storeys high, with attics in the gable-end wings. It has 20th-century leaded casement windows, including one on the first floor of each wing and one in the center of the first floor. A part-glazed door is located at the end of a small gabled wing to the left, alongside a half-hipped, single-storey framed addition to the left-hand wing. A planked and ribbed door is situated on the right-hand return front.
