Description
Myrtle Cottages is a row of cottages dating from the early 19th century, located on Portsmouth Road, Esher. The cottages are constructed of red brick on a plinth, with a hipped slate roof. They have central stacks and further stacks to the left and right of the centre. The design is symmetrical, with seven bays arranged in a pattern of ABABABA, featuring end piers. The windows are glazing bar sash windows with gauged heads; the first floor has four windows across, alternating with block windows. The cottages have arched panel doors with fanlights in the second and sixth bays, with further doors in the return fronts.
