Description
This is a row of seven cottages located on Blenheim Road, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, built for the Shirburn Estate. The cottages are constructed from chalk random rubble and feature a gabled roof covered with old tiles, along with brick ridge stacks. They are designed as two-unit cottages, with one storey and an attic, comprising a total of ten windows. The cottages have segmental brick arches above early 20th-century plank doors, one blocked door, and 2-light casements. To the left, there are four gabled dormers. At the rear, two brick double-gabled wings contain 2-light casements with Gothick heads. Inside, cottages six and seven feature chamfered beams and quarter-turn stairs.
