Description

Windrush Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It dates back to the 16th century, with later alterations including an early 19th-century cross-wing on the right and some changes made in the late 20th century. The building is constructed of coursed stone rubble with roughcast and features a stone slate roof. There is a stone ridge stack located to the left of the center and an end stack on the left side.

The farmhouse is two stories tall and has a four-window range from the 16th century. In the center, there is a four-centre arched doorway with a stone moulded surround, which now has a 20th-century door. The windows are arranged irregularly, with most being three-light casements. The early 19th-century cross-wing to the right is made of coursed squared stone and also has a stone slate roof, with stone end stacks. This section is two stories high and has a two-window range. To the left, there is a six-panel door with a plain stone surround. The ground floor to the right and the first floor feature 16-pane unhorned sash windows with flat stone arches.

At the rear, there is a cross-wing that was likely a former barn and outbuildings, which were in the process of being converted into a dwelling at the time of the survey. The interior of the building was not inspected.
