Description

Mistletoe Cottage is a house dating to the late 17th or early 18th century. It is built on a limestone rubble plinth, with a timber frame now rendered over. The roof is thatched and half-hipped, with a 20th-century brick stack on the right end. The house has a two-unit plan and one storey with an attic. Originally it had a two-window front. It now has a 20th-century door and flanking windows. A swept dormer on the right has a 19th-century three-light casement window. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest. A plan and section are illustrated in A. Pacey’s “Duck End: a group of Oxfordshire Houses” published in 1985.
