Description

Pinkhill Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed from squared and coursed limestone and features a half-hipped thatch roof with a brick end stack. The building has a two-unit outshut plan and is one storey high with an attic, presenting a three-window range. The exterior includes chamfered timber lintels over a blocked central door, which has a 20th-century window, along with additional 20th-century windows. There is a brick-arched segmental mid-19th century doorway with a 20th-century door to the left, and a timber lintel over a blocked stair-light to the right. The cottage also has 20th-century dormer windows. Inside, there are chamfered beams and an open fireplace, along with a central timber-framed partition.
