Description

The Pagett Memorial is a chest tomb located about 35 yards southeast of the south porch of St Mary's Church in Chipping Norton. It dates from the mid-18th century and is constructed of ashlar stone. The memorial features a moulded plinth and cornice, with Tuscan corner shafts. The sides are panelled, and the northern side is adorned with swagged drapery frames. The memorial commemorates John Pagett, who died around 1745, and his wife Martha, who passed away in 1743.
