Description

This barn, located approximately 15 meters northeast of Myrtle Farmhouse, dates from the early 19th century but has earlier origins. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features ventilation slits, topped with a gabled stone slate roof. The barn has a five-bay plan, with a threshing floor situated on the second floor from the right. Inside, there is a collar-truss roof supported by butt purlins. Evidence of an earlier building can be seen in the thicker walling on the left side. The barn is included for its group value.
