Description

The Jasper and Elizabeth Hewer Memorial is a chest tomb located about 11 metres south-east of the chancel of the Church of Holy Rood in Shilton. This memorial commemorates Elizabeth Hewer, who died in 1816. It features a tall ashlar chest with reeded end piers, a frieze adorned with florets, a moulded cornice, and a stepped and hipped capping.
