Description
Old Forge Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with an extension added in the early 19th century. It is positioned at right angles to Church Lane and includes a former smithy. The building is constructed of rubble and features Cotswold stone roofs. The cottage has a single storey and an attic on the right side, which includes an attic gable and a small two-light attic window. To the left is a taller two-storey extension with two windows. The ground floor has glazing-bar sash windows in the two central positions, while the other windows are casements. There is a door located on the south side. The former forge, which now only retains the bellows, is situated to the east of the cottage.
