Description

Hillside is a house dating from the 18th century, constructed of coursed squared limestone. It features a 20th-century cement tile roof with coped gable parapets and stone end stacks, which have been largely rebuilt in brick. The house has a central-staircase plan and stands two storeys high with a three-window range. The entrance includes a 20th-century half-glazed door, while the 19th-century three-light casements have horizontal glazing bars. The ground floor openings are topped with stone flat arches, and the first floor has painted wood lintels. The interior is noted for its ceiling beams.
