Description
Swiss Bridge is a bridge built around 1820 for the Fifth Duke of Marlborough. It is made of wrought iron and features a trellised balustrade supported by slender arch-braced piers. The bridge is located beneath Capability Brown's Grand Cascade, as the Fifth Duke created a botanical garden around the Cascade. Blenheim Park, where the bridge is situated, is included in the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission Register of Parks and Gardens at Grade II.
