Description
The Temple of Flora is a late 18th-century structure located in Blenheim. It is built from limestone ashlar and features a gabled roof covered with Welsh slate, showcasing a classical architectural style. The front of the temple is pedimented and is adorned with pilasters that include masks, swags, and palettes. These flank a keyed moulded three-centred archway, which has moulded imposts. A laurel wreath is carved in the tympanum above the archway. Blenheim Park, where the temple is situated, is registered as a Grade I park and garden.
