Description

The East Formal Garden steps, located in the northwest corner, were designed in 1908 by Achille Duchene. They are made of limestone and consist of two flights of five steps each, featuring plain balustrades and piers with panelled sides. These steps are part of Duchene's layout for the East Formal Garden, which was created for the Ninth Duke of Marlborough. Blenheim Park, where the steps are situated, is registered as Grade I in the HBMC Register of Parks and Gardens.
